Catholic Charities now offers immigration services in Muskogee

Appointments available twice monthly at Saint Joseph Parish

Muskogee, OK, October 28, 2015 — Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Tulsa now provides legal services in Muskogee to those needing assistance with immigration matters. Attorney Michael Abdoveis is taking appointments for new consultations on the first Thursday of every month and follow up appointments on the third Thursday of each month from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Appointments are held at Saint Joseph Parish at 321 North Virginia in Muskogee.

Catholic Charities Immigration Services has been an accredited program through the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services since 1984. The Tulsa office staff consists of four attorneys, two accredited case workers and several support staff. Services include family petitions, deportation proceedings, naturalization, green card replacement, deferred action for students, and support for victims of violent crimes such as domestic violence and human trafficking. Services are offered for a nominal fee and no one is turned away based on inability to pay.

Those interested in scheduling an appointment should call Saint Joseph Parish at 918-687-1351. Clients are encouraged to bring their own translator; however, if one is unavailable, the parish will provide translation services.
