Harrison & Amy’s Letter

Dear birth parent,

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We are grateful for your decision to consider adoption and that you are looking at our family as a potential adoptive family for your child.

Amy grew up in Pennsylvania and moved to Tulsa for college, and Harrison grew up in Oklahoma City. We met in college, started dating shortly after graduation, and were married in 2011.

Harrison is a lawyer and works for the Catholic Church. He is also studying to be a deacon. Amy works from home for a Christian nonprofit organization and is very blessed to have a flexible schedule that allows her to be home with our daughter most of the time. Amy also enjoys sewing, playing music, and gardening. Harrison enjoys reading and playing soccer. We both like hosting dinner parties at our home.

We have a two-year-old daughter to whom Amy gave birth. She is our miracle baby, who was born despite significant fertility and pregnancy problems, and we thank God every day for her life. She is spunky, talkative, and a very happy little girl! She is fortunate to have grandparents, aunts, and uncles who adore her, and she is able to see them often. We have always dreamed of having multiple children who can grow up together, with all the joy and fun that comes with having siblings. We believe that a child placed with our family would enjoy the benefits of having a big sister who is very excited for a baby to join our family.

We are a fun-loving family that enjoys going on regular outings to the museum, the zoo, and gymnastics. We paint, we garden, and we love to chase our two little dogs, Margot and Louis, in the back yard. Our faith is the center of our lives, so we also do a lot of activities at church, including weekly mass and monthly play groups. We love to spend time together, laugh, and enjoy one another and the blessings we have been given by God as a family.

While our life is very happy, we long for more children. We feel that we can provide a beautiful life for a baby who is placed with us. We pray that God will arrange a situation so that our desire to have more children is met by a birth parent who is in need of a home for her child, and who desires a family like ours. We pray for you and your baby daily, and our hope is that you may feel peace in this time.

Thank you for taking time to learn about us, and we hope to meet you soon!

God bless you,

Amy and Harrison
