Nace & Courtney’s Letter

Dear Birth Parent,

While these are simply words on a page, we hope that they convey our admiration for you and our heart for adoption.

We pray for you and your baby each morning as a family—for peace, for comfort, for hope. We are excited to see what God has in store for both your family and ours. We believe God is faithful, and we are following his will for our lives. We know that adoption is clearly a part of that for us. Thank you for your interest in us. We are humbled by it.

We are Nace and Courtney. We met in high school art class but didn’t begin dating until years later. We got married in 2011 and have loved each other every day since. We have so much fun together and take time often to have a date night and spend time together one on one. We have busy lives, but we cherish each other and build our relationship on Christ. We are honest and open with each other, which leads to a healthy, rich marriage. We are so thankful for our family.

Our son, Maddax, is the light of our family. He is four years old and loves all things superheroes, dancing, playing with his cousins, and reading books. He can’t wait for a new baby brother or sister and often asks if he can pray for them. We are so proud of him.

As a family, we spend a lot of time together working around in the house, inside and outside. Nace and Maddax tinker and build things together, and Courtney puts her decorating touch on the projects. We dance a lot together—in the kitchen, in the car, basically anywhere. We love going to church together with our families as well.

Nace works as a machinist for the company his father started in 1980. After his father passed away in 2013, Nace took over the company with his mom and brother. He does a fantastic job leading the employees and planning for the future of the business. Outside of work, Nace loves to hang out with family and does Crossfit.

Courtney is an art director at an advertising agency. She designs brochures, websites, logos, billboards, and more. She loves that her job provides her a place to be creative. After work, you can find her at home, surrounded by family or friends, cooking or baking in the kitchen.

We are so excited for what God has in store for our future and yours. We anxiously await the day we might meet you and welcome a sweet baby into our lives and our home. Though we haven’t met you, we love you, and we are praying for you. If you have any specific questions, we would love to meet with you to answer them in more detail.

With love,
Nace and Courtney
