Volunteer Spotlight – The Crawford Family

The Crawfords

Ben, Tim, Christina and Jack Crawford (pictured from left) have been volunteering as a family for several years.

Volunteers Tim and Christina Crawford attend Church of the Madalene with their sons, Jack and Ben, who are entering 9th grade at Holland Hall. In addition to volunteering regularly in the food pantry and clothing center and helping with holiday food basket distributions for the past four years, Tim recently designed Catholic Charities’ new computerized volunteer time-tracking software. Jack and Ben are also spending four hours each week volunteering in our education center this summer.

“We felt called by God to volunteer with Catholic Charities as a family,” said Christina when asked what made her family decide to volunteer. “We volunteer here with Jack and Ben so that we can be their example that together, as Catholics, we make an impact on other’s lives through prayer, love and service. By being hands-on with the mission of Catholic Charities, to help those in need, we feel so fulfilled, and we thank Catholic Charities for allowing us to grow as a family in love and faith with the Lord.”
